1. How have we made a difference in your organization/company?
GJM made a very positive impact on our Company during the most recent IRS audit…your tax department (Charlie Heid and Deanna Hall) defended Seneca in front of the agents. The situation was resolved in the best possible manner for the Company. After that, I awarded GJM the tax compliance work for a job well done. GJM also helped us get our fixed asset software up and running. They “loaned” us an intern who populated the data in the software so that we could hit the ground running. Year end updates have been inconsequential to us ever since. They also automated our Form 5500 filings…saving our CFO (me) a great deal of time and effort…
2. What is your overall impression of our firm?
Extremely positive…having “grown up” at Ernst & Young in Toledo for a number of years, there is no question about the quality of personnel at your firm. Seneca Medical is getting quality audits without the Big 4 price tag.
3. When you think of Gilmore, Jasion, & Mahler, LTD what words would you use to describe our firm and service?
Quality, integrity, value, knowledge… Big 4 experience, without the Big 4 price…
4. Do you remember why you chose GJM?
The audit went out to bid as my previous firm’s audit fee just got too high for what they were doing. A number of local firms bid on the business. I certainly felt the most comfortable with the team that GJM put in front of me. It was a pretty easy victory for GJM.
